So its been a while since my last blog (sorry). I saw this video the other night (thanks to Wretched Radio).

When I was is Sunday school we learned verses, read bible stories and sung Jesus loves me this I know (which is no longer politically correct). Nowadays, some have decided that we must nuance songs so that the kids will sing them. I'm sure Jesus is most glorified and lifted up through the singing of songs that bring spewing to the forefront of your mind...



This song is part of the Crazy Praise 3 collection of praise songs and I'm sure it will be instant hit in all the Nonsense-Driven Churches across the English speaking world.

Last night I was listening to wretched radio (which is my usual custom) it runs from 8-10 uk time at www.wretchedradio.com its well worth a listen. Last night they had Dr Steven Lawson on the show last night. This was a clip that was played after the interview had finished. This message was preached at a youth conference that John Macarthur runs. It is well worth a listen!!!

Piper and Warren

So it a appears that in the blogsphere that there is a lot of debate about John Piper inviting Rick Warren to Desiring God Conference. I have not heard a great deal of Warrens preaching nor have I read a lot of his books, so I'm not really able to comment. However what I will say is that I love and respect Piper. His preaching has convicted me and challenged me and I haven't heard any error come from him. Ultimately I trust the guy, so I'm looking forward to hearing the audio of the DG Conference.

First things first, I don't know anything about this TV show. Iv never heard of it. If they are faithfully preaching the Gospel, good on them and I pray that God would use this show to bring people to himself:

Any-ways, you've got to admit the guys lack of cultural knowledge is rather funny. Fresh Prince of Bell-air, nearly every one has seen that... Star Wars, cult classic.

God has used Harvest Bible Chapel to Change my Life...

Those of you that know me will likely know I'm an intern at Harvest Bible Chapel Glasgow. The church was planted around 6 months ago. It has been awesome to be involved in Harvest! Ask anyone in the church- small group and accountability has been an essential part of the growth of the church and each of our own personal growth as Christians.

For some reason my video isn't on there although I did here my voice at the start. I thought I'd share with you how God has changed my life through Harvest Bible Chapel, so here goes:

God has used Harvest Bible Chapel to change my life through small groups. Small groups are such a vital part to harvest. In our small groups we study the word together, we pray together, sometimes take communion together, have some awesome coffee and we do accountability! Accountability time has really helped me. We discuss issues like pride, forgiveness, lust, relationships and lots of other things. We share our struggles with our group and we send encouraging texts holding each other accountable. Often these texts are scripture as we recognise the importance of speaking and investing truth in each other. This has strengthened my walk with God massively!
